We shall advise on managing Drug and Alcohol in the workplace, including implementation of a Drug and Alcohol Testing Programme. We shall also offer medical assessment of employees, either at pre-employment stage, or following a referral from management, for employees following absence or performance issues.
We bring over 20 years experience in Occupational Medicine in the United Kingdom and internationally (in Mauritius and Botswana). We are able to adapt our approach to be in line with legal requirements and occupational health practice in different countries.
Extensive experience as Consultant in Occupational Medicine in the UK, working in various sectors including Rail, Local Government, Police, NHS
Previous employment as Specialist in Occupational Medicine in Mauritius, providing services to various companies including Mauritius Telecom, Air Mauritius, Airport of Mauritius Ltd, British-American Tobacco (Mauritius), Watertech, Galvabond.
Experience at strategic and government level including the following:
- Adviser in Occupational Medicine and Head of the Occupational Health Unit of the Ministry of Health in Mauritius
- World Health Organisation Consultant to the Government of Botswana for the development of a National Occupational Health and Safety Policy
